History

This charming sanctuary was built in 1885

and is listed as Snohomish's Methodist Church on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally constructed on the corner of 3rd Street and Avenue C, in 1910 it was moved to its current location and placed on a basement foundation on the corner of 3rd Street and Avenue B.

The congregation later finished the basement to add a fellowship hall and kitchen on the garden level then added a pastor's study and church office on the sanctuary level.  The United Methodist Church held worshipservices in this building until 1992, when it was sold to finance the current church building located north of Blackman's Lake in Snohomish.
